Anyone who has listened to my show for some time may know that I have a thing for Greek and Cypriot Eurovision entries from the 80's and 90's. I no longer do a "Eurovision Song of the Week" but I still sneak a Eurovision entry every know and then on the show. Today I played the Eurovision entry for Cyprus in 1998 - "Genesis", sung by Michalis Hajyanni (also known as Mixalis or Michael Xatzigiannis if you try to Google his name) .
We also spoke about and played a few songs by Peggy Zina.
