Today I will be featuring the music of Arkadia (pictured here). The group mentions the show on their website here and on their facebook page.

The photo is courtesy of Arkadia. Please note that the show broadcasts on Sunday from 1 - 3 PM. The selections from Arkadia will probably air at about 2 PM (which is why they mention 2 PM).

We also heard some music from Nana Mouskouri, below is a video of her from the
1960 film "Rantevou sthn Kerkyra" ("Rendez-vous at Corfu") singing Kapou Yparxei I Agapi Mou ("My love must be somewhere out there").

I focused a little bit on the band Arkadia. and I played Terrace of Celebrations, a song from their new album.

The Terrace of Celebrations
Tsamiko beat, English lyrics, something I'm not sure has ever been done before on record anywhere. The fun continues. I've had the phrase "echo in the rain" for many years, but never knew I would use it. This is a love song, and what is more romantic than the notion of the sea. The ebb and flow. The August moon reflected on the waves.

I also realized that there is a CD called d Euro Revisions, an album of Eurovision song remakes, strangely it seems only to available as a purchased download
