Ilias helped me with the show today and he will be hosting the show next week.
Check out the videos below, I have included a few extra ones for the holidays:
Today we talked about and played music by Mario Frangoulis. Two videos of his are below (an Edith Piaff tribute from his summer tour and a duet with Ruth Sahanaya.).
Also below is some holiday music: Katy Garbi singing the Greek version of Sleigh Ride live and Anna Vissi and Helena Paparizou singing Agia Nixta (Silent night). Helena is singing in Swedish.
Regarding last week's show, it was hosted by Georgios and friends; the computer was down that day so a playlist is not available.
Enjoy the show with Ilias next week, it will be great. I will be back in two weeks. Comments and requests can be sent to greekmusic@gmail.com
Happy holidays and new year to all!

Today we heard some music from the Charms. Hopefully soon I can come up with more information than this:
The charms: One of the most popular Greek bands of the 60's. The Charms started recording in '64. They released 3 singles before their line up changed.
I personally have always enjoyed their upbeat sound. Below is a video of The Charms from the Greek movie "O Trelopenhntarhs", 1971. Enjoy.
